There is no cure for cerebral palsy. But it most certainly can be treated. And treatment can often improve the quality of a person's life. The progress that has been made over the years in medical research helps many people with CP to enjoy full and wonderful lives.
There is no one therapy that works for all individuals with CP. Instead, a physician must work with a team of health care professionals first to identify a person's unique needs and impairments, and then to create an individual treatment plan that addresses them.
