Coping with DyslexiaClassroom Strategies
- Sit up front and close to the instructor so you can get help whenever you need it.
- Do not sit near a window.
- Keep an assignment book or appointment book with you so you don't forget impor tant due dates, events, or meetings.
- Ask your teacher for an outline of each day's lesson plan.
- Use an expanding file folder, instead of loose individual folders, to keep hand outs/papers/homework organized.
- Use erasable pens for writing assignments.
