If I weren't a mentally ill woman living transsexuality without an academic or monetary source of support, I would love to read and critique the above critiques. The fact is that differences and identities can coexist, mingle, be transformed from within or without. I don't see anyone claiming that modern Chinese culture is an outgrowth of ancient Greek culture. If that is ignorance on my part, then, perhaps someday I will be able to correct that, once I have achieved my rightful place in society.
